Important Information

Automotive Scotland Limited provide vehicle leasing services on the following terms and your use of this website and the services on offer is conditional upon the following: -

• You must be eighteen years of age in order to enter into any contract with us.
• Your use of this website and associated services is conditional upon your agreement to these terms as signified by your signature on the agreement documents once a deal is concluded.

• All vehicle offers and associated deals are subject to availability.
• Deals on offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time without prior notice.
• The quoted specification of a vehicle on offer is taken from published sources provided by the manufacturer or elsewhere and is deemed to be correct at the time of publishing.
• We cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies that might arise in this data.
• Once you have chosen a vehicle and financial package you will enter a contract with the finance provider who will set the rates and period over which any contract is to run.
• The contract will be for the supply of a vehicle to be leased to you for the agreed period, but you will not at any point acquire ownership of the vehicle.
• Failure to maintain payments may result in the termination of your contract. Unpaid instalments might be pursued through Court proceedings.
• Once a contract period has run its full term or is prematurely ended, the vehicle must be returned to the supplier and all outstanding sums cleared.
• The maximum period for which funding may be provided is 60 months.
• All contracts will come with a mileage restriction which may from time to time be extended by agreement. Any excess mileage will be charged at a rate per mile set out in the agreement.
• During the entire period of the lease, it will be your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is comprehensively insured, properly maintained, serviced on schedule and where appropriate, MOT tested when due. Failure to do this may result in a charge for damage or rectification work.
• You may at your own expense fit accessories such as a towbar or other permitted modifications to the vehicle for the duration of the lease provided all changes are reversed at the conclusion of the lease. Failure to do this may result in a charge for damage or rectification work.
• It is a requirement that neither you nor any passenger carried will smoke inside the vehicle. Any trace of smoking odour inside the vehicle will constitute damage which, if not removed by a decontamination process, may lead to a claim.
